Petrochemicals are chemical products derived from petroleum. The two most common petrochemical classes are olefins and aromatics. Olefins include ethylene and propylene, aromatics include benzene, toluene and xylene isomers. Petrochemicals are the building blocks for a wide range of materials used daily such as solvents, detergents, plastics, resins, fibres and lubricants.
As the world moves away from the refining of crude oil into diesel and gasoline there will be an increase in the production and type of petrochemicals. There is already an increase in speciality petrochemicals.
We sell mainly into the Indian Subcontinent and Far East.
